The lawmaker representing Idemili North and South Local Goverment Areas in the House of Representatives has installed a solar powered borehole at Isingwu Community Hall, Nkpor in Idemili North Local Goverment Area of Anambra State.
Recall that the lawmaker as part of his constituency projects had earlier constructed and completed the first phase of the strategic Amafor Road, Nkpor to ease traffic on the Nkpor axis of the Onitsha – Enugu Expressway.
The importance of the solar powered borehole to the people of Isingwu community can not be overemphasized as residents normally travel long distance to get portable water for their domestic use.
A resident, Mrs Ngozi David applauded the lawmaker for his intervention, noting that the newly installed solar powered borehole would alleviate a whole lot of their problems.
“I want to thank Hon Obinna Chidoka for this unique intervention of solar powered borehole, we normally send our children out early in the morning to go scout for water for domestic use but an end has come to that era with the borehole graciously constructed for us by the performing lawmaker.” Mrs David stressed.
She said as a matter of fact that all the women in Isingwu community in particular and Nkpor in general will vote for Hon Obinna Chidoka of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 2023 National Assembly Elections.
