Tragedy as 18 seater bus summersaults, goes up in flames in Lagos [Video]

Tragedy struck at the exit of 3rd Mainland bridge from Charlie Boy’s area en route Ajah of Lagos as eighteen seater bus summersaulted and caught fire.

Eye witnessed account claimed that the lone fatal accident claimed the lives of at least sixteen of the passengers who got trapped in the inferno.

Two of the eighteen passengers who managed to escaped from the burnt vehicle were said to have sustained serious burnt.

Vehicular movement has been temporarily paralysed in the area following the fatal accident.

In a video obtained by THE DAILY VENDOR people were seen crying and wailing at the scene of the accident as they could not offer any help to the victims.

At the time of filing this report, an ambulance just arrived the accident scene contrary to the expectations of the people that a fire fighting truck would be deployed.

Meanwhile, none of the eyewitnesses could explain the cause of the lone crash.

“I don’t know what caused the accident, all I noticed was that the bus suddenly summersaulted and caught fire immediately.” An eye witness lamented.

The Lagos State Sector of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) could not be reached for their comments at the time of filing this report.
