Two Nigerian music superstars and songwriters, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu Rex popularly known as Burna Boy, and Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun known professionally as Wizkid have both emerged winners at the 20th BET Awards held on Sunday.
The DAILY VENDOR gathered that the award took place virtually due to the COVID 19 pandemic, and was hosted by Amanda Seales.
The Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’ track won Wizkid the BET Her Award category, thus making history as the African artiste with the most BET awards.
While Burna Boy emerged winner in the Best International Act.
Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion, Chris Brown and Roddy Ricch were the biggest winners of the night as they won two awards each.
