President Muhammadu Buhari has called Nigerians to continue to pray for peace and stability in the country
Buhari made the call in his address at the 70th anniversary of the Qaddriyya on Saturday in Kano, NAN reports.
Buhari said prayers help crush the security challenges facing the nation.
The Nigerian President urged the youths to use federal government empowerment programmes to learn trades and become self-reliant.
The President also commended the Qadiriyya leader, Sheikh Qaribullah Nasiru-Kabara, for his support and spiritual intervention over the years.
The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, and the Emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero, urged Nigerians to live in peace and continue their supplication for the nation.
