WANA: Pakistan Army media Wing Inter Services Public Relation(ISPR)on Tuesday issued a statement that during an encounter with the hard-core terrorists in Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan Lower a senior Army officer embraced martyrdom.
It is said that Brigadier Mustafa Kamal Burki from Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) was leading the encounter when he embraced Shahadat.
Seven other Pakistan Army officers and jawans also injured.
Two of them critically wounded.
ISPR said Brigadier Burki and his team put up a valiant resistance against the terrorists during the encounter and the officer sacrificed his life for peace of the motherland.
