The Peoples Democratic Party has just screened the newly defected governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki.
Recall that Governor Obaseki was disqualified from participating in the ruling All Progressives Congress primary, leading to his resignation and eventual defection to the PDP.
Obaseki also wrote about the exercise on his Facebook page, he wrote:
“I am currently being screened by the PDP screening committee to participate in the Edo State primary election scheduled for June 25, 2020.”
