[BREAKING] Gunmen open fire on Borno governor’s convoy

The convoy of Babagana Zulum, governor of Borno in state, was attacked at Baga, a town in the state, on Wednesday July 29

A security source told The DAILY VENDOR that the governor was on his way to some internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in the northern part of Borno when the incident happened.

“The governor went to Kukawa, and on his way to Baga his convoy was attacked. Nobody was injured,” the source said.

However a source around the village told the Daily VENDOR News that it was Boko Haram elements who did the attack .

According to our source ” we have been complaining to them that these people have been disturbing us for long killing our people in their farms”
