A fatal road traffic accident has been reported at the Upper-Iweka area of Onitsha, in Anambra State.
The details about the accident are still a little sketchy, but pictures available to The DAILY VENDOR showed that the accident involved a trailer laden with fully loaded container, a Toyota Sienna commercial vehicle, and multiple tricycles.
Pictures available to us showed that the trailer laden with loaded container flipped over trapping many.
The spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps in Anambra, RC Pascal Anigbo who confirmed the incident said about five people have already been confirmed dead, while others were injured.
He however said the rescue operation is still ongoing.
