Barely twenty four hours after he was honoured by a regime that ousted him in 2015, ex President Goodluck Jonathan is in a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Dr Jonathan who was honoured with the newly commissioned Warri rail station Monday by the minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has been a regular guest of Aso Villa, Abuja under the Buhari presidency.
Though the two leaders belong to two opposing political parties, watchers of Nigeria politics believe the renance romance may be unconnected to the 2023 calculations.
The romance between Dr Jonathan of the opposition PDP and President Buhari of the ruling APC became holier recently when Buhari lost out with President Olusengu Obasanjo.
Close Aso Rock Villa source also link the visit to the ongoing probe at the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
There was official statement from presidential aides on the visit as at press time
