The former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Engineer Maikanti Kacalla Baru is dead.
He died yesterday, Friday 29, May.
Details about his death is still sketchy at the moment.
Born July 1959, Baru was the 18th GMD of NNPC. He served in the position from July 2016 to July 2019 and had previously served as the Group General Manager (GGM) of National Petroleum Investment Management Services.
