Boko Haram terrorists have released photos parading three out of those abducted by the Islamic State faction of the group along Chibok-Damboa road in Borno State.
The Daily Vendor Newspaper had reported that on December 2, terrorists identified as Islamic State in West Africa Province ISWAP, kidnapped at least five officials of the Borno State government, who where supervising constructions.
The government officials were said to be supervising the construction of Chibok-Damboa road on Wednesday when the terrorists attacked and forcefully whisked then away.
Meanwhile, one of the staff was able to escape unhurt.
According to a report by SaharaReporter, the terror group during the week released different pictures of how the abduction took place.
It also released pictures of a police officer, and two other abductees.
Since the death of factional leader, Abubakar Shekau, ISWAP has been consolidating its grip in locations around the Lake Chad.
Just recently, it appointed Wali Sani Shuwaram, a 45-year-old as the new Leader (Wali) of ISWAP in Lake Chad.
It is learnt that the sect’s membership has swollen with the defection of hundreds of Boko Haram fighters under Shekau.
The terror group has caused over 50,000 deaths and displaced millions of individuals mainly in Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe states.
