He said: Chidoka, from my friendship and interactions with you, which I think has been beneficial to both of us, I’ve seen you’re one of the A-blessed in your generation and when you asked me to come on this program, I said to myself, this is something I must do. Thank you for all you have done with this program.”

The DAILY VENDOR recalls that The Mekaria Mentorship Program, is an online mentorship group, initiated by Chidoka after the demise of his mentor and former minister, Chief Ojo Maduekwe.

This was in response to calls from various youths and groups, asking for the kind of mentorship he received from the Late Maduekwe. The platform involves Chidoka and a carefully select list of mentors, who provide personalized advice, guidance and support to Nigerian youths.

‘Mekaria’ is a word formulated from Ojo Maduekwe’s slogan during his 1983 campaign, “Ojo ga emekaria” meaning Ojo will do better. Ojo later redefined Mekaria as “continuous excellence”, advocating that individuals, groups and Nations can only develop through quest for continuos excellence.

The aim of the program is to encourage young men and women to attain their full potentials through uncompromising quest for excellence, personal integrity and a culture of intellectual curiosity.
