Armed Bandits continued their onslaught in Katsina killing another Traditional Ruler in Mazoji, and not less than 50 people in Matazu Local Govt of Katsina State in his house in the wee hours of Saturday June 13 2020

The DAILY VENDOR News learnt that the bandits carried out the attack on Mazoji Village around 2am and operated for several hours before killing the traditional leader and not less than 50 people as well as setting ablaze five motorcycles during the attack, while they rustled unspecified number of cows.
The security operatives were yet to arrive the village as at the morning and when the arrived the bandits have already fled to the notorious ruga forest I’m their motor bike.
There have been bandits attacks coupled with kidnappings and cattle rustling in Katsina State in recent times, leaving many deaths , wounded and displaced.
This is coming over the heels of the breakdown of the negotiation which the government had with them initially .
