AV-Tech beverages’ depot will boost employment opportunities in Anambra – Commissioner

…urging other companies to emulate AV-Tech by opening their depots in the State

The Anambra State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Hon. Obinna Ngonadi has called on influencing individuals in the State to contribute towards government’s effort in creating employment for the people of the State.

Ngonadi stated this while commissioning AV-Tech beverages’ depot, along  Obodoukwu road, Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area, Anambra State.

He expressed satisfaction that the firm, known nationally, has opened a depot in the State, urging other companies to emulate AV-Tech by opening their depots in the State for employment opportunities to the youths.

“With this commissioning of the AV-Tech depot, employment opportunity has been created for the unemployed youths, which is in line with the State Government’s resolve to keep the youths busy,” he stated.

Managing Director of AV-Tech, Mr. Paul Nwokolo, commended the Commissioner for being physically present to commission the depot despite his tight schedules.

He said described Onitsha as a convenient place for their products stating that the patronage would be encouraging because of its commercial nature.

He collaborated the Commissioner’s position that with the commissioning, more youths would be employed thereby reducing the unemployment rate in the State.

Present at the occasion included, chairman of Ogbaru Local Government Area, Hon. Pascal Aniegbunam, Ogbaru market chairman, Chief Ogbogu Nwanodi, former chairman of the market, Chief Victor Nwawuzie Akirika, Director General of Anti-Piracy, Frank Uduonu, who advised people to go for the best and quality products.

“We use Okpoko as depot because of its nature of manufacturing fake products. So with the proximity via AV-Tech, we will be able to monitor the Okpoko producers of various fake products”, he hinted.
