APC Lawmaker expelled over anti-party activities

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled Mr Success Torukerijoh, the lawmaker representing Ese Odo constituency at the Ondo State House of Assembly, for alleged anti-party activities.

The DAILY VENDOR learnt that the decision to expel the lawmaker was taken during the meeting of party leaders in the LGA held early Sunday.

Torukerijoh was one of the lawmakers who opposed the impeachment of the Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, last week.

The Ondo state House of Assembly had initiated the impeachment proceedings against the deputy governor over his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
