The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra state has warned the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to stop harassing its (APC) members in the House of Assembly who left the ruling party in the state for the party.
The chairman of the party, Chief Basil Ejidike who stated this to newsmen weekend in Onitsha through his Media Adviser, High Chief Dan Okeke, also urged APGA to leave its members alone and focus on its campaigns.
He reminded APGA that this is a democratic arrangement in which anybody has the right and freedom to associate with the people of his choice.
Ejidike however urged more members of the State House of Assembly to leave the ‘sinking’ party and follow quality national party that would return Ndigbo to the centre.
He also advised APGA members to follow the steps of its colleagues in the House of Assembly and join the APC to return the lost glory of Anambra.
He called on anti–graft agencies such as Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), and ICPC to beam their searchlights on the government finances to unearth its monumental fraud especially on governor’s monthly security votes amounting into billions of naira.
He said, “APGA is losing focus in the State. There is total failure of infrastructural facilities like roads, good drinking water, power, good healthcare delivery, quality education, women and youth empowerment and security.
“Ndi Anambra should shine their eyes this time around and vote a party that will take them to the centre. Our candidate, Senator Andy Uba will change the fortunes of the State if elected on November 6,” he stressed.
