Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Aderemi Adeoye on Monday visited family of the late ASP Anthony Ogobodo, the police officer killed in a motor accident last weekend by driver of a shuttle bus.
He prayed God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss and assured them that justice would be speedily dispensed on the tragic demise.
Police Spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga, while confirming the incident, said the deceased was on his motorcycle when he was knocked down.
He said the driver has been arrested and taken into custody while the incident was being investigated.
