Anambra Commissioner of Police decorates 113 newly promoted officers

The Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command *CP John B.Abang, on Wednesday, decorated 113 newly promoted Police Officers from the Inspectorate to ASP cadre at the State Command Headquarters, Awka, Anambra State.

The decoration ceremony was done following the recent promotion of 6,601 personnel of the Nigeria Police Force throughout the Federation in line with IGP’s determination towards boosting the morale of Police personnel for effective service delivery.

It is also based on merit, seniority and dedication to duty.

The ceremony was attended by the Command management team and relations of the newly promoted officers.

Addressing the officers, the CP congratulated the beneficiaries on behalf of the Inspector-general of Police IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu.

He urged the officers to reciprocate the gesture done to them by redoubling their efforts towards fighting crimes and exhibiting high professionalism, civility to members of the public and respect for human rights.

Responding on behalf of the newly promoted officers W/ASP, Amaoge Ann Okoye thanked the IGP and the Police Service Commission for finding them worthy of the promotion.

He promised to redouble their efforts towards serving the Nation with integrity.

Among the beneficiaries were ASP Amaoge Ann Okoye In charge of Confidential office,SHQ Awka, ASP Umoru Ejima attached to Department of Operations SHQ Awka and W/ASP Chinenye Ochiobi attached to Aguata Division.
