Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the November 6 gubernatorial election in Anambra state, Prof Chukwuma Soludo has urged party leaders in the 21 Local Government Areas and 326 wards in the State to deliver their respective wards in the forthcoming poll.
He reminded the them that APGA remained the only political party with the Igbo identity which must be preserved by voting overwhelmingly for it to retain power in the State.
Speaking at a strategic meeting with the state Governor, Willie Obiano and party faithfuls, Soludo urged the party leaders to effectively mobilise the people to vote massively for the party.
He reiterated that elections were won both at the polling booths and wards respectively, arguing that it was where greater efforts should be concentrated in mobilizing the people for a successful outing come November 6, 2021.
Governor Willie Obiano appreciated the party faithful for their support to his administration over the years and urged them to sustain the tradition by mobilizing the people to vote massively for the party in the election.
He reiterated that Soludo remained the best candidate for the election and should be fully supported by the entire citizens.
On her part, Wife of the governor, Mrs (Dr) Ebelechukwu Obiano urged the party members to rally round and vote massively for Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, who she said, would consolidate on the achievements of her husband.
Speaking separately, Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe and Sen. Victor Umeh urged party members to brace up and ensure total victory for APGA and Soludo/Ibezim come November 6, 2021.
Also present at the meeting included APGA Deputy Governor candidate, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim; members of the State Executive Council, House of Assembly Members and key party stalwarts.
