Alleged anti-party activities, APC suspends Chairman

Following alleged anti-Party activities, the All Progressives Congress APC has suspended Mr Alex Oladimeji, the Chairman of Ifedore Local Government.

The Ondo State chapter of the party suspended Oladimeji after his ward executives accused him of involvement in anti-party activities.

His suspension was contained in a letter signed by the party executives in the Ijare ward in the local government.

They alleged that Oladimeji’s activities in recent time were against the provisions of the party’s constitution.

“We executive members of Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State hereby today 3rd of November 2021 suspend Engr Alex Akinyemi Oladimeji from our party, APC as a result of his various anti-party activities in breach of the provisions of the article 21 of the APC constitution and his several unwholesome conducts against the name and image of our party in the state despite several warnings from the state,” the letter read”

The state chairman of the party, Mr Ade Adetimehin, however said there was no crisis in the party, he said if there was any internal wrangling in any local government, the party had a way of resolving it.

“As we speak, Ondo State APC is one of the crisis-free chapters in the country. We have a way we resolve our internal crisis in the state down to the wards. So the Ifedore matter would be resolved,” he noted.
