PAKISTAN: Alkhidmat Foundation arranged a free medical camp for orphans children in Landikotal Al-khidmat hospital on Saturday
Talking to reporters Al-Khidmat Foundation head Murad Hussain Afridi said that they provided free medical checkup,medicines and required medical tests to around 102 orphans in Landikotal. He said a team of senior doctors consulted the patients. He said every year they arrange free medical camp for orphans in Landikotal. He said a handsome amount they collect from donners had been spent on the health and education of poors and orphans.
Murad Hussain Afridi said they have 40 registered orphans with Landikotal Alkhidmat Foundation and they provide them free education,health and food round the year.
He said they also enroled 30 more orphans at Alkhidmat school in Landikotal who were getting free education.
Murad Hussain said they were also working with child laborers in Landikotal bazaar. He said an educational centre was established in main Landikotal bazaar where 51 child laborers working in hotels and shops attend classes.
He said they provide books,school uniform and stationary to the child laborers .
A sport event was also arranged for orphans children at Alkhidmat hospital. Landikotal Mayor Shah Khalid Shinwari was chief guest.He lauded the generous work by Al-Khidmat foundation and donated five sewing machines and Rs,5,000 cash to Al-khidmat foundation.
