Anambra State Police Command on Wednesday received newly deployed Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Eboka Friday and three Commissioners of Police posted to Zone 13 headquarters, Ukpo and the Command respectively for election duty in the Zone and State.
Police spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
AIG Eboka, before his posting as the election supervisor of zone 13, comprising Anambra and Enugu Command, was the AIG in charge of Zone 16.
“He shall supervise the three Commissioners of Police deployed to the three senatorial districts of the state including the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Police Command, Echeng Echeng for the 2023 General Elections.
“The Commissioners include DCP Yusuf.A. Apaje for Anambra North and can be reached through the phone number 08037073372, CP Julius.A. Okoro, for Anambra South and can be reached through the phone number 08033447493.

“The Command, therefore, urges the people of the State to come out en masse to exercise their franchise and vote for candidates of their choice; as adequate deployments have been made to ensure that elections are peaceful, hitch-free and secured.
