,Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has disclosed that the 5000 teachers who had gone through the processes of recruitment would commence work in September, 2022.
Soludo dropped the hint while addressing some youths at the Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka during an interactive forum organized by the State’s Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, (NYCN) in collaboration with Ministry of Youth.
The governor who described youths as both bridge to the future and integral part of every development, however regretted that some youths’ involvement in crime has negatively affected the country.
He however asserted that his administration would not relent in making the state unbearable for the hoodlums.
“Security of lives and property remains top agenda of my government and we will continue to provide enabling ground for a liveable homeland,” he said.
Soludo charged the youths to be responsive and take the development of the society in their hands as that determines their future.
“I charge you to be responsible citizens and acquire skills that will make you productive while the government will provide the enabling environment, security and infrastructure,” he added.
