A 3-year old boy, Chimdindu Oledibe was reported to be missing from a Catholic Church Umunze, Anambra state.
The victim, also known as Bobo was said to have gone to the Church service along with his mother and went out of the Church unnoticed during service and got missing.
The DAILY VENDOR gathered that efforts by the church members to locate the boy’s whereabouts proved abortive.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed confirmed the incident.
He said, “On the 28/6/2020 at about 1:pm, there was a report at Umunze Police Station by REV. FR. Basil Ezekeli of ST. Joseph Catholic Church Umunze that a male child of about 3 years namely Chimdindu Oledibe (AKA Bobo) who came for Church service along with his mother one Mrs Charity Oledibe went out of the Church unnoticed during Sunday mass service and got missing.
“Following the discovery of the missing Child, the Church immediately organised a search party and the entire Church premises was searched but to no avail.
“Inview of the foregoing, you are kindly requested to disseminate this massage through your medium to enable quick rescue of the child.
“Anyone with useful information about the missing child should either contact the nearest Police Station, ST Joseph Catholic Church Umunze or call PPRO Anambra State Police Command through GSM no 08060970639.”
