24-year-old man in police net for defiling 4-year-old girl in Imo [Photo]

A twenty-four (24) years old man, Mr. Chukwuebuka Ajaegbu from Eke-Eziachi village in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo state, has been arrested by the police in Imo for allegedly defiling a minor, a girl of four (4) years, (name withheld), a resident of the same Eke-Eziachi village in Orlu LGA .

According to a press release made available to THE DAILY VENDOR correspondent in Owerri through the office of the command’s police public relations officer, Sp lkeokwu Godson Orlando. It was revealed that on the 20th of April 2020, operatives of the command while reacting to an incident report arrested the suspect for defiling a minor.

Our correspondent also gathered that, the mother of the victim stated that while she was bathing her daughter, as she tried to wash the private part, she discovered that she was hurt as she cried out in pain at her attempt to touch that part of her body.

She said as a result she was moved to ask her daughter what happened to her and she informed the family that it was the said ANYAEGBU CHUKWUEBUKA that hurt her.

SP Ikeokwu said “however, the suspect is in custody while investigation is ongoing.”
