A prominent Labour Party(LP) governorship aspirant,Chief Valentine Ozigbo has criticized Gov Charles Soludo ‘s ‘Operation Udo Ga Achi’ initiative saying that it came at the odd time.

Ozigbo who was fielding questions from newsmen at Grand East Hotel Awka after meeting with his top major support groups; ANVO, Harmonized Obedients and COPDEM stated that for thirty three months in governance, Soludo did nothing on security until now.

He described the move as a political stunt timed to suit the re-election bid of the incumbent governor by confusing the people that he was coming to work.

Ozigbo advised people to pay attention to the promise but more importantly pay attention to the person making the promise noting that time has come for the people to ask questions, think and vote the good people into power.

He asserted, “My challenge is when people focus on promises and words that can actually be empty and flimsy. What I preached and still preaching was that people should pay attention to the promises but pay more attention to the promisers. It is high time people asked if the people are good because when the wicked are in power, people suffers.

“Today people are suffering and dying because the wicked are in power. The only way this can be corrected is by making sure the good and righteous people are voted into power. We should not allow wicked people to remain forever in power.

The Labour party governorship aspirant while speaking on the unification of the three of his support groups said that it is imperative to unify and harmonize the support groups noting that a house divided against itself cannot stand.
