Why Anambra LG officials must be ICT complaint, by ICT Agency boss 

Managing Director, Anambra State ICT Agency, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, CFA has encouraged officials of Local Government in the state to embrace technological initiatives, noting that tech skills enhance value in any field.

He emphasized the crucial role of technology for the state’s future, reiterating Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s commitment to making Anambra’s workforce, including local government officials, tech-savvy.

Speaking during the ongoing 2024 Local Government Service Week at the Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka, the ICT Agency boss stressed technology’s inclusive nature and the significant investments it requires.

Dr. Bridget Egbosi echoed this, urging officials to invest in digital tools and personal development.

Chairman of the Commission, Barr. Vin Ezeaka commended the MD’s address and called for collective efforts to improve the local government system.
