LANDIKOTAL: Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) and Haq ki Awaz welfare organization in collaboration with Distric Police Khyber launched a campaign to rehabilitate drug addicts in District Khyber.
In this connection, awareness campaign was launched while a number of cases were received from family members of the drug addicts.
Two drug addicts namely Zahoor sin of Mehboob Khan resident of Shalobar Bara and Shahzad son of Irshad resident of Wazir Dhand Jamrud were handed over by district police Khyber to the team comprising Anti Narcotics Force(ANF) to admitt them at Haq ki Awaz Rehabilitation Centre.
Anti Narcotics Force and district police Khyber were working closely in extermination of the menace of narcotics from society.
DPO Salim Abbas Kulachi said besides the eradication of drugs and drug peddlers they were working to rehabilitate drug addicts.
He said the mission and motto of the campaign was to bring these addicts back to normal life to help relieve the mental stress on their families and to make them catalyst in the progress of the society.
Salim Abbas Kulachi appreciated the efforts of ANF,Haq Ki Awaz Welfare Organization and district police for their hectic efforts. He added that the efforts would help bring back the youngsters to normal life. He also requested the civil society and notables of the community to help and assist district police ANF to wipe out social evils from the society.
