Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh has described Mater Amabilis Secondary School, Umuoji in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state as the
greatest school in Nigeria.
Chuma-Udeh who stated this on Thursday during a visit to the school, said it was rare opportunity for any one to have passed through the school.

The commissioner, an alumni of the school, who joined the staff and students of the school for their morning Assembly, said she was very happy to be part of the assembly.
She said, “I’m very happy to be part of the assembly. It is a rare opportunity for any one to have passed through the school.
“I came this morning just for one single purpose to tell you that this school is the greatest school in Nigeria.”
Chuma-Udeh charged the students to dedicate themselves to the holy mother and make her their friend, telling her what they have achieved everyday in their studies while requesting her to be with them.
Senior Prefect of the school, Miss Jessica Ogbogu appreciated the Commissioner for her efforts to reposition education in the State.
She thanked her for all her supports to Mater Amabilis Umuoji and requested for more especially during the present economic hardship.
The Principal, Mrs Lucy Ibekwe and the Manager Rev. Father Francis Onwuchulum corroborated the Senior Prefect on Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Commissioner’s support for the education sector.
They prayed for the progress and continuous upliftment of the Soludo-led administration.
