The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Nnewi North LGA chapter on Saturday expressed optimism about winning the House of Representatives election rerun in five polling units of the industrial town.
The Nnewi North LGA chairman of APGA, Hon. Tony Muodielo (Klassic) in his welcome address during a pathfinding meeting of the officials of the party in the council area said that the party has done the needful to carry the day in the rerun supplementary election.
Hon Muodielo however stressed the need for all energy to be put into the rerun election to ensure that APGA candidate, Hon Eleodimuo remain in the green chamber of the National Assembly for his full tenure.
The APGA Chairman recounted the outstanding projects the member of the House of Reps has carried out in the industrial town of Nnewi over the short time he has been there.
He appreciated the members and officials of APGA in the council area for their steadfastness.
In his comment, the Transition Committee (TC) Chairman for Nnewi North LGA, Engr Chris Obiora emphasized the need to prosecute the rerun supplementary election with singleness of heart.
He said all manner of distractions should be avoided.
The member of House of Representatives, Hon Uche Eleodimuo who appreciated the Nnewi North APGA family for their support highlighted some of the projects he carried out in the industrial town.
He however pledged to continue to give responsible and responsive representation to his constituents in the National Assembly.
The Anambra State Chairman of the party, Barr. Ifatu-Obiokoye at the occasion charged all the faithful to work collectively to ensure victory for the party candidate in the February 3rd rerun elections.
He said that the rerun election is a unique opportunity for Ndi-Nnewi to appreciate the Anambra State governor, Prof Charlse Soludo who has been so magnanimous to the town interms of projects and appointments.
