PESHAWAR: Pakistan Customs Enforcement Division in collaboration with Police and Thal Scouts seized a bulk of smuggled cigarettes in two different raids and apprehended the trucks, officials said on Sundaay.
Sohail Khan, custom spokesman told The News that a vehicle(NAE- 704) dumper truck and recovered 227 corton foreign made Milano cigarettes from its cavities.
He said in another raid they also recovered 223 cortons Milano cigarettes from another dumper truck (EA-1628) Dumper.
The value of the seized cigarettes in open market is 125 million rupees.
