Lagos demolishes illegal buildings in Meiran

The Ministry of Environment and Water Resources in Lagos State has begun demolition of illegal structures along the perimeter fence of Lagos State Model College, Meiran.

This was announced by Tokunbo Wahab, the Commissioner for the Environment, via X, on Monday.

He stated that the Monitoring Enforcement and Compliance Department of the State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources enforced the order.

Wahab said: “Demolition of all illegal structures along the perimeter fence of Lagos State Model College, Meiran, Agbado, Oke-Odo LCDA, and environs today by the Monitoring Enforcement and Compliance Department of Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources.”
