Rivers State House of Assembly loses lawmaker 

The Rivers State House of Assembly has announced the passing of one of its members, Hon. Dinebari Loolo.

Hon. Loolo before his demise was representing the Khana 2 State Constituency in the 10th Assembly of the state.

This development was confirmed by the spokesman for the Assembly, Victor Oko-Jumbo, a member representing Bonny Constituency.

Oko-Jumbo, speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt described Loolo’s death as shocking.

The circumstances surrounding the death of Loolo are still unknown.

Earlier, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule, led other lawmakers on a condolence visit to the family of the lawmaker.

The House sympathized with the family over the death of the lawmaker, describing him as “a rare gem, who contributed immensely to the development of his constituency and the state as a whole.”

Amaehule urged the family to take solace in the fact that the late Loolo lived a life of service to humanity and left a legacy that will forever be remembered.

He assured the family of the continued support of the House and prayed for their comfort and strength during this difficult period.
