PESHAWAR: Taking action on a tip off Pakistan customs officials seized million of rupees goods in DI Khan on Friday, officials said.
The official said on the directives of DG Customs Intelligence and practical cooperation of Pakistan Army, DI Khan Police and DI Khan Customs carried out a major operation.
He said after an exchange of fire with the smugglers, the Customs Intelligence took timely action and seized the smuggled goods worth about 50 million rupees.
He said the seized items were include of leather, tyres, cloth, plastic bags, and tea leaves.
An FIR has been registered after arresting two suspects.
