Seek African solution to solve African problems – Dr Neliaku charges leaders

The African Leadership Summit, an assemblage of policy makers, entrepreneurs and leaders of Thought from across Africa, those in the diaspora and investors from parts of the world has reiterated the need for African leaders to be true to the peculiarity of Africa’s needs and embrace pro-African solutions to African problems.

Dropping the wise counsel on the phone yesterday shortly after the 2023 Summit held at Jerusalem where he delivered the keynote paper titled “Unlocking Africa’s Potential Through Business a Entrepreneurship: A Path To sustainable Economic Growth and Development”, Dr Ike Neliaku, a Governing Council member of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR’) and the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Prize for Leadership, agitated the minds of leaders, policy makers and investors from all over the continent on key issues bedevilling economic growth and development despite their bubbling potentials.

The thought provoking presentation, which was tailored towards the aim of the biennial summit was to foster collaborations, ignite innovations, awaken and accelerate investments and economic growth and sustainable development all over Africa.

As anticipated, the summit looked into the peculiar key challenges plaguing economic development in Africa. It also explored the existing huge untapped opportunities constantly staring the continent in the face.

Dr Neliaku who is also the Principal Partner of Rightangle PR and Chairman of ABC Shelters Group in his presentation elicited participants with credible facts that demonstrated that African economies were bursting with limitless potentials in virtually all areas.

The continent, he added equally boasts of a young, vibrant and elastic abundant natural resources a a thriving tech ecosystem.

He admitted that unlocking the full potential  of Africa through business and entrepreneurship to sustainable economic growth and development requires a concerted effort to create a conducive environment for business to thrive limitlessly. He highlighted the need for a holistic approach to involving governments, the private sector, investors and local communities, as well as other stakeholders in creating the required enabling environment, promoting innovations and leveraging success stories to empower, motivate future entrepreneurs all over Africa.

With professionally marshalled out bullet points of some of the challenges and solutions, Dr Neliaku urged the participants to arrive to be the catalysts for transformative change through fostering collaboration, stimulating investment and creativity.
