Hardship: Gridlock in Lagos as NLC begins protest

The Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, has commenced its planned protest against subsidy removal and hardship in Lagos State.

The organised labour assembled at Ikeja under-bridge earlier in the morning and are currently marching towards the state House of Assembly.

The procession has resulted in a gridlock in the area.

The NLC had asked the Federal Government to “immediately deal decisively with the criminal content of subsidy instead of exposing ordinary citizens to avoidable pain and hardship.”
