Anambra to spend N172m on renovation of State Assembly complex

The Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) has approved the release of the sum of N172,469,839:27 for the renovation of the State House of Assembly Complex and Legislative Office Buildings. Awka under Phase 1.

Commissioner for Information, Mr Paul Nwosu who disclosed this in a statement, said ANSEC also approved the payment for the reconstruction of Revenue House.

ANSEC AWARDS CONTRACT FOR RENOVATION OF HOUSE ASSEMBLY COMPLEX AND LEGISLATIVE OFFICE BUILDINGS

The Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) has approved the release of the sum of one hundred and seventy-two million, four hundred and sixty-nine thousand, eight hundred and thirty-nine naira, twenty-seven kobo (N172,469,839:27) for the Renovation/Upgrade of the Anambra State House of Assembly Complex and Legislative Office Buildings. Awka under Phase 1.

The contract was awarded to HERMEBS CONSTR/MAINTENANCE SERVICES NIG. LTD. with a completion period of Two Months from the date of payment of mobilization fee.

ANSEC also approved the payment for the reconstruction of Revenue House.

Government approved the release of the sum of thirty-three million, seven hundred and eight thousand, six hundred and sixty-five naira, thirty kobo (N33,708,665.30) to Patios Construction Co. Ltd, being the final payment of the completed construction of Fencing Extension With Gate And Security House, including Parking/Yard Paving at the Revenue House, Agu-Awka, Anambra State.
