KHYBER: Renowned religious seminary Al-jamia Islamia Al-farooqia on Wednesday opened a private school system where poor and orphans children would be provided free schooling in Shakas area of Jamrud in district Khyber.
The Dawn Harward School System Director doctor Sayed Muhammad Hafiz formally inauguarated the school in Shakas locality.
A large number of religious scholars,educationists, locals,teachers,students and civil society members attended the opening ceremony.
Provincial care taker minister for relief and rehabilitation Taj Muhammad Afridi was the chief guest on occasion.
The Dawn Harward schools system director Sayed Muhammad Hafiz while addressing the gathering said that the school would be of international standard in all its educational and recreational activities. He said orphans would get free books,uniform, boarding and lodging in the school. He said free hostel facility was also established for orphans in the school’s premises.
He said so far 200 students have enrolled so far and admissions would be continued for few next weeks.
He said besides the formal education they were focusing on charactor building,leadership qualities of the enrolled students. He said the aim of the combined school system was to prepare religious scholars,engineers,doctors and teachers and polish youth to contribute for the country in the future.
“The School is equipped with modern digital books lab and computers linked with international educational institutions so that atudents could intouch with students abroad”,said dr Sayed Muhammad Hafiz.

said that the reason of poor educational system in thirdworld countries was the lack of modren education and train staff. He said that no nation could progress until every citizen not get proper education. He said history revealed that the downfall of a nation was just because of the convenstional and outdated educational system.
Afridi said it was a healthy precedent set by the religious seminary setting up purely modren education system where a good number of students enrolled.
“I am confident that other seminaries would also follow Aljamia Islamia Alfarooqia and will establish schools for poor and orphans children which would be great contribution as nation”, said the minister.
