Pakistani-Norwagian biker reaches home in Landikotal

LANDIKOTAL: Norwagian-Pakistani  bikers Ziauddin Pirzada reached Pakistan on Sunday after his 22 days bike journey from Oslo city of Norway.

Ziauddin Pirzada, a resident of Pirokhel in Landikotal, living in Norway started his journey on his bike he called it Leo. He was fond of traveling and exploring the world.

Additional assistant commissioner Ramiz Ali Shah,Landikotal press club president Khalil Jabran, local elders and police officers warmly received him at Michni check post near Torkham border.

The 59-year-old Ziauddin Pirzada was presentrd bouguets of  flowers. 
He was entertained by formal briefing at Michni chekpost and offered him local meals.

Later Ziauddin drove to Landikotal press club where he held talked to journalists about his journey. He said that it was his goal to travel around the world on his bike he called it Leo. 

Ziauddin Pirzada said he left from Oslo on May 2, and reached Landikotal on June 4, traveling through 16 countries in Europe and Asia. 

“It was joyful and attractive jurney i ever had in my life”, Zia in a smiling face said. He thanked Landikotal assistant commissioner Irshad Ali Mohmand,addtional assistant commissioner Ramiz Ali Shah,Traffic suqad incharge Nek Amal Afridi,locals and journalists for their warm welcoming him to Pakistan.

He said so far he paved more than 9,000 kilometers from Oslo and would continue world exploration. 
Zia said he wanted to explore Pakistan’s beautiful picnic sites including Northern areas,Swat,Chitral and Kashmir. 

Pirzada said he felt proud as he was the first tribal and Pakistani who conducted world tour on bike. He said the aim of his world journey was to promote tourism in Pakistan and across the world.

“I want to project pakistan’s soft image, culture and tourism opportunities to the world especially those who want to visit the historical Khyber Pass and other famouse picnic resorts in Pakistan”, he said. 

He said to avoid bad habits youth must take tours of beatiful places in Pakistan and get involve in healthy activities. He said Pakistan was  a beautiful country.
