Public analyst slams Aleke, FFK for attacking Chimamanda over letter to Biden

A public policy analyst, Polycarp Onwubiko has commended the world celebrated writer, Chimamanda Adichie on her well written articulated letter to the US president, Joe Biden, objecting to his somewhat hasty congratulatory message to the Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He said Chimamanda argued that US has one of the best investigative security agencies and media workers who must have availed their president with the controversies that trailed the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.

He regretted that the the primordial ethno-religious sentiment in Nigeria has led two apparently hack writers to go off the tangent to ooze vituperation on Chimamanda.

The duo: Dele Aleke and Femi Fani-Kayode cleverly avoided Chimamanda’s point-blank assertions.

Alake resorted to reminding Nigerians about past elections in Nigeria as if nobody knows that; while Kayode engaged in preposterous, laughable, ludicrous verbosity and meaningless verbiage and ended up saying nothing.

Onwubiko who believes in the Judiciary urged the aggrieved Nigerians to wait for the Judiciary to address the case before them.

He said: “Fact remains that Nigerians should have faith in the Judiciary; they should not make reference to the abracadabra in the last Imo state governorship election”.
