2023: PVC collection without voting exercise in futility – Anawana

Lagos based business mogul, Chief Murphy Anawana has called on Nigerians to shun tribalism and vote right during the 2023 general elections. 

He also praised Nigerians for showing unprecedented interest in the exercise by collecting their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) in record numbers.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after receiving a Person Of Peace award from the Igbos For Progressive And United Nationhood (IPAN), the Enugu Agidi born high Chief popularly known as Ogodo Agidi, however warned that the efforts would be exercise in futility if the voters did not participate in the election, especially that of presidential election.

“I commend Nigerians for the unprecedented interest in the forthcoming general elections by collecting their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) in record numbers.

“But all that efforts will be in futility if that large population do not troop out en masse to vote, especially in the presidential election,” he said.

Anawana, President of Murphy Ben International, parent company of Aforevo TV and Vybz FM, further called on Nigerians to take deep look at the candidates to ensure they chose a man of character with competence.

He thanked IPAN for the rare honour bestowed on him, and praised the organization for its fight for peace and progress of the nation.

Earlier, National President of IPAN, Comrade Lawrence Onuzulike, described Chief Anawana as a nation builder and a person of peace.

He said the award was given to him for his outstanding performance and contributions to national development.
