2023: Peter Obi Support network receives Ozigbo, others

…urges more patriots nationwide for similar bold step

The coalition of Peter Obi Support Network (POSN) has welcomed the flagbearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the last Anambra State governorship election, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo to the Labour Party’s “Obidient Movement”,  describing the development as long overdue and cheering.

Mr FCC Jones Onwuasoanya, who is the Director of Strategic Communication of POSN,  the foremost support group of the Labour Party presidential candidate said that Mr Ozigbo’s formal endorsement of Peter Obi candidacy was not surprising as he’s a progressive patriot who never hid his passion for a better, working Nigeria.

According to him, “Mr Valentine Ozigbo is a patriotic Nigerian who is passionate about building a working, progressive and a united nation, and it is not in any way a surprise that he has made his declaration to join the most popular and most promising people’s movement in the history of Nigeria’s Fourth Republic politics.

“We have always known that his heart has been with this movement and we warmly welcome him with joy, assuring him of our absolute cooperation in ensuring that this movement is piloted to success for the benefit of all Nigerians.”

The POSN spokesman urged other likeminds to take a cue from Ozigbo and join the Peter Obi campaign train in order to steer the country away from present imminent disaster.

“This is not the time to sit on the fence. This is a time for every true patriot and lover of progress to take a stand with the people and participate actively in salvaging the fate of our dear nation… “

Onwuasoanya believed that Ozigbo and many other Nigerian patriots’ bold move, who have put Nigeria’s interest above their personal political and pecuniary interests first, by aligning with the best Presidential candidate in this election, to the hope that more political leaders and statesmen would break off the shackles of partisanship and join in the mission to save Nigeria in its present precarious situation.
