…urges members of PDP to work together for victory of the party

Ahead the 2023 general elections, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Prince Ifeamuma Nwafor-Orizu on Thursday urged members of the party to work together for victory of the party.
Prince Nwafor-Orizu made this charge during the end of the year get together he put together for the party faithful.
The end of the year get together took place at the historical God Village in Nnewi.
In his speech at the occasion, Prince Ifeamuma Nwafor-Orizu noted that it has become imperative for all hands to be on deck for a successful outing of PDP in the 2023 general elections.
The Nnewi North LGA chairman of PDP urged members of the party to close ranks for victory in the next general elections.
He pointed out that he has been using his personal resources to run the party to ensure that there is a positive change in the management of PDP in Nnewi North.
Prince Nwafor-Orizu noted that he has spent over nine million Naira on the party so as to keep the party in perfect equilibrium in the industrial town noting that he did not inherit any money from his predecessor.
“I appeal to our members and executives to scout for votes in the next general elections just the same way they pursue money. I am fully prepared to ensure that the party resources is no longer used for wrong purposes as was the case in the past. Election resources would be judiciously allocated for victory of PDP in 2023 general elections.
“Many of our members are struggling to survive because of the economic reality of Nigeria today, it is incumbent on the leadership to assist these fellows to find their bearings. This is the philosophy of my late father and I just have to continue in his footsteps. He was well known for selfless service in politics and that is the kind of approach to turn things around in the Nnewi North chapter of PDP.” He asserted.
Prince Nwafor-Orizu applauded Chief Dan Ulasi and Barr Olisa Metuh as well as other leaders of the party in the council area for their commitment to a successful outing of PDP in the 2023 general elections.
A stakeholder of PDP in the council area, Chief Emma Mgbemena applauded Prince Nwafor-Orizu for moving the party forward noting that he has done so well since he assumed office and that he would be leaving a very big shoe for his successor.
He also commended the team of executives and the ten ward chairmen as well as the stakeholders for their cooperation with the new kid on the block, Prince Ifeamuma Nwafor-Orizu.
The occasion was attended by the chairman of AtikuOkowa campaign council in Nnewi North, Hon Amobi Chikwendu, Barr Chima Nnamdi and other big wigs of the party in the area.
Prince Nwafor-Orizu at the occasion empowered party faithful with one hundred cartons of noodles, seventy bags of rice and five hundred tubers of yam.
