Europa League: Playing at Old Trafford is a dream come true says Uzoho

“Today my dream came through. Old Trafford, I will never forget tonight” – Uzoho

Omonoia Nicosia goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, has said playing at Old Trafford was a “dream come through”.

Uzoho started for the visitors against Manchester United in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The Nigerian faced 34 shots from Erik ten Hag’s men, and made 12 saves.

Uzoho was only beaten by Scott McTominay’s effort in the 93rd minute.

He said after the game:  “Today my dream came through. Old-Trafford, I will never forget tonight. GGMU. IN CHRIST ALONE.”

The result leaves Omonoia bottom of Group E with no points, while United are second with nine points, three behind Real Sociedad.
