The ball has been set rolling as consultations are making headway on who takes over as the President of Nigeria in 2023 after the tenure expiration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
With the rumours making wave, the former Executive Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu is one of the leading aspirants in APC.
Abdullahi Umar Farouk, a three-time member of House of the House of Representatives from Kebbi State and also, a senior legislative aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, said Tinubu would succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
This is in recognition of Asiwaju’s contribution to the development of Lagos State and the country’s democracy.
Farouk acknowledged this at the Jagaban’s inauguration of his national executive committee of the Tinubu Media Team, “TMT2023”.
