Sixteen people escaped death in an accident that occurred at Agulu in Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.
This information was made public by the Public Education Officer of the Anambra State Sector of Federal Road Safety Corps, Florence N. Edor.
Edor, who said the accident occurred on Tuesday noted that an unidentified driver of a Mitsubishi commercial bus with registration number AAH 221 XA and Unidentified driver of Toyota Hilux pick up had a serious multiple road traffic crash near Golden Tulip Hotel Agulu.
She said that information reaching her indicated that the road traffic crash was as a result of excessive speeding leading to loss of control.
Edor said thirteen males and three females were involved in the crash.
One female adult according to her sustained some degree of injury and was rushed to St Joseph Hospital Adazi before the arrival of FRSC rescue team from Nanka outpost.
Meanwhile, the Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Anambra Stat Andrew A. Kumapayi(CC) has wished the injured victim quick recovery.
He also warned motorist to desist from speeding or driving above stipulated speed limits especially within built up areas to avoid preventable road mishaps.
